Had a training session this morning with a client. Failure at a new personal best on deadlifts. The bar barely moved more than 2 inches. But deadlifts is an exercise where you can’t spend a lot of time thinking – a quick breather and told him to quit thinking and f*ing lift it, and it was done.
I’ve said this before: You’re not going to achieve your personal best by being comfortable.
The biggest thing Ki does for me is pushes me to what THEY know I can do – I may not be able to picture I have the capability yet, but Brian knows I can do that and more. They have a vision of us doing bigger things, and y’know, we meet and exceed that with their coaching. An amazing feeling.
