Had a training session this morning with a client. Failure at a new personal best on deadlifts. The bar barely moved more than 2 inches. But deadlifts is an exercise where you can’t spend a lot of time thinking - a quick breather and told him to quit thinking and f*ing lift it, and it was done.
I’ve said this before: You’re not going to achieve your personal best by being comfortable.
